Per pound of steel, yes. The continuous arch spreads wind and snow load evenly with no corners or joints to concentrate stress, which is why it can hit wind ratings of 100–180 mph and snow ratings up to 150+ psf with less material than a rectangular frame needs to hit similar numbers. A standard steel building can be engineered to match or exceed that strength, but it takes heavier trusses and more material to get there.
